Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg
Professorship (m/f/x) in Solid State Quantum Optics
salary scale W2
commencing as soon as possible.

The professorship will further strengthen this area by exploring quantum optical phenomena that are of relevance for photonic quantum technologies.
The successful candidate should have an internationally renowned profile, within at least one of the following research topics:
- Generation of entangled states of light and/or matter in solid-state nanostructures and their application
- Interaction of non-classical light with single electrons and/or spins in solid state quantum systems
Contribution to the key research initiatives of the Institute of Physics and the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics is expected. The Institute is characterized by a strongly cooperative and emphatic culture. As the University of Oldenburg and the University of Bremen are bound by a cooperation agreement, active participation in the cooperation is also expected.
