Maike Schade
Maike Schade began learning the journalistic trade early on 鈥� freelancing for the Schrobenhausener Zeitung at the tender age of 16. After studying jazz singing, she completed a traineeship at the Donaukurier before moving to Hamburg, where she worked as a freelance journalist for a number of publications including the Hamburger Abendblatt, the L眉neburger Landeszeitung, autobild.de and Szene Hamburg. She led the editorial staff at car.a.mia for a year before spending six years as the film section editor for Szene Hamburg. She has been responsible for professional guidance content at academics since January 2021 and added the newsletter to her portfolio in October 2022.
