The Faculty of Technology at Bielefeld University, in cooperation with the OWL Faculty of Medicine, is looking for a coordinator to manage the lecture series "Zukunft eHealth", a nationwide project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The aim of the event series is to qualify people with a MINT background for a research career in medicine. A cohort of around 30 participants is to be qualified accordingly via dedicated courses. The series of events consists of 6 modules, which include a series of lectures and practical practical group projects. At the end of the three-year series of events, participants receive a certificate attesting to their successful participation in the curriculum.

The post holder will develop the curriculum together with the participating researchers and coordinate the series of events. Experience in science, especially in the field of medicine/health sciences, as well as in the development and conceptualisation of curricula and courses is desired.

Your Tasks

development of the curriculum for the "Zukunft eHealth" event series (40 %)
coordination of activities to promote the event series, including maintenance of a website (10 %)
use and maintenance of tools for internal knowledge management (10 %)
coordination of the process for selecting participants (10 %)
preparation and follow-up of steering committee meetings (10 %)
invitation of and communication with external lecturers (10 %)
organisation of local lecture series and coordination of assistants (10 %)

Your Profile

We expect

completed scientific university degree in the field of medicine, health sciences or in a MINT field of study
experience in scientific work, especially in medicine, health sciences and/or natural sciences, sociology, psychology etc.
strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
confident and confident demeanour
excellent German language skills
advanced knowledge of English (business fluent)

Preferred experience and skills

experience in the conception and organisation of courses
PhD in a relevant subject (natural sciences, health sciences, medicine, sociology, psychology etc.)
