Are you passionate about production or logistics and would you like to combine this with modern business management know-how? At our university, you can not only pass on your specialist knowledge to our motivated students, but also actively conduct research: as part of our Mobility and Logistics Doctoral Center or, depending on your inclination, in two of the most renowned relevant research institutions: ReLUT for the field of urban and rural logistics or IAT for the field of air freight. But we are also happy to work across disciplines. Because that is our way of researching sustainable and efficient solutions for a global economy.

Your tasks
  • You will contribute your theoretical and practical experience in production and logistics to the basic courses of our Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in German and English.

  • With your commitment to applied and interdisciplinary research, you will play an active role in shaping the future of your field.
  • In the future, you will take over the management of a degree program and thus promote the further development of the department and support us in further expanding the internationality of our university.
Your profile:
  • You have a university degree in business administration, logistics, production or a comparable subject - supplemented by a good or very good doctorate, ideally in the subject area.
  • You have at least five years of professional experience, including at least three years in industry
  • You are well positioned professionally and have extensive professional experience and a large practical network, which reflect your economic expertise in at least two of the following areas: production, logistics and commercial transportation.
  • You have built up and further developed your teaching skills, for example through teaching assignments, experience in training or further teaching training.
  • You are characterized by your team spirit and commitment as well as your enjoyment of international action and thinking and diversity-sensitive, interdisciplinary collaboration in teaching and research.
Please also submit a teaching and research concept that meets the requirements of the position with your application. We would be pleased if you could also explain how your main areas of activity fit in with our Doctoral Center Mobility and Logistics.
