The following professorship is to be filled in the department Economics at the location Koblenz as soon as possible:

Professor (f/m/d)
for General Business Administration, especially Controlling and Advanced Business Analytics (Base Salary: W 2)

Part-time employment is possible.
Your tasks:

• Representation of teaching (in German and English) in the subject areas General Business Administration, especially Controlling und Advanced Business Analytics and the study programmes in the School of Business and Economics
• Establishment of a research profile as well as national and international research activities incl. publications
• Networking with regional stakeholders (companies, associations, etc.)
• Participation in academic self-administration

Your profile:

• Professional expertise in the teaching area Controlling und Advanced Business Analytics with practical application relevance to corporate management as well as IT and AI-supported corporate management
• Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally leadership experience
• Enthusiasm for working with young people and their development
• Openness for the further development and implementation of innovative teaching concepts
• Openness to taking on new teaching content within the framework of the long-term, strategic and, if necessary, interdisciplinary further development of the range of courses offered
• High social competence in dealing with students, colleagues and employees
• Good German skills (minimum C1-level) and good English skills

The hiring requirements for professorships result from 搂 49 of the Higher Education Act of Rhineland-Palatinate (HochSchG).
