We are seeking to recruit a scientifically distinguished recognised expert in the field of electrical machines and drives, with a proven track record in research in several of the following areas:
- Analytical and numerical modelling of electromagnetic arrangements
- Optimisation methods in the design of electrical machines
- Control of electric drives
- Transverse and axial flux machines
- Reliability of electric drives
- Hairpin technology
- Traction and robotic drives
As part of the teaching program, the entire subject area of electrical machines and drives is covered in the curriculum in the basic and advanced courses in German and English. In addition to teaching, active acquisition of third-party funding and the assumption of tasks in academic self-administration are expected.
This professorship is funded by the (Female Professors Program 2030).
We are searching for an individual who is distinguished by high-ranking scientific publications (optional: or patents) with international visibility.
For a qualitative assessment of your academic accomplishments, we kindly ask you to submit a short description of your three most important scientific achievements, which should be no longer than one page in total. Possible successes may include, for example, those in the fields of research, teaching, science and society, knowledge and technology transfer, inventions and patents, software development, or spin-offs.
