W3 PROFESSORSHIP FOR SCALE-BRIDGING THERMODYNAMIC AND KINETIC SIMULATION (m/f/d)
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Ruhr-Universit盲t Bochum invites applications for the position of a tenured full-time Professor (W3) in Scale-bridging thermodynamic and kinetic simulation as soon as possible.- Data-driven materials modeling and design
- Thermodynamic and kinetic simulations
- Materials processing and microstructure evolution
- Life cycle simulation and sustainability
- Mechanical and physical properties
- Strong commitment in teaching
- Readiness to participate in interdisciplinary research
- Willingness and proven ability to attract significant third-party funded research projects
- Full integration with the research at ICAMS () and ZGH () and close collaborations with groups in the Materials Research Department ()
- Proven track record of collaborative research
